August is the month when the Cretan festivals – Panigiria – and concerts are held in the villages all over Crete.

Small and large villages fill squares and schoolyards, cultural associations do their best to set up the most famous feast of the region and housewives prepare the traditional dishes of their place!!
Every day in August there is a Panigiri everywhere in Crete!!
